Bona Fides Association and FEKETE SEREG are looking for Polish volunteer (18-30 year old) to join 2 months short term individual volunteering project in Hungary!
Place: Nagyvázsony, Hungary
Start: from 16.10 (or a bit later) until 30.12.2026
Duration: 2-2.5 months
Application deadline: 09.10.2026
Fekete Sereg Youth Association was founded in 1997. The association wants to bring young people together in Nagyvázsony. Our goal is to create fun and meaningful activities for local youth, support those who need a little extra help, and encourage community projects that make our village a better place.
Our village, with 1,800 inhabitants, is in western Hungary, not far from Lake Balaton. It has a primary school, a kindergarten, three little supermarkets, a bank, a post office, cafés, some hotels, a small gym, our youth center and a lot more.
Nagyvázsony is famous for its medieval castle that’s why tourists visit the village as well.
Volunteer tasks
Our volunteers can help in many areas. One of them is our local youth center — a place for young people to be, enjoy themselves, and spend time together. It’s open Monday to Friday, from 14:30 to 19:30.
There’s no fixed program; it’s a space where they choose what to do, with a PlayStation, ping-pong table, table football, and a music system. As a volunteer, your task is simply to be yourself: hang out with the local community, and bring a bit of your own culture along with you.
Another task is helping out at the local kindergarten. You’ll assist a teacher, play with the kids, and help with their daily activities.
Volunteers can also help at the museum in Veszprém, a city about 30 minutes away from Nagyvázsony. If you’re interested in history, archaeology, or museum work, this is a great chance to assist the archaeologists with their tasks.
If you want to improve your media skills—like filming, video editing, photography, or managing social media (posts, stories, reels)—we’d love to give you the chance to practice! You can create content about our association, volunteer life, or the village :)
